The built in fridges look great and I much prefer the shallower storage. No more, what’s in the back there.

Huh the induction tops are black or grey. Scratching isn’t some big issue.

The cutting board comments might be that you have the flexibility to use the surface as a work surface if you want and yes you should use a cutting board if you do that. This is just a nice bonus, not some sign it’s “delicate”. If you have a gas cooktop, that’s not even an option.

They are great to cook on.

Yes you need different cookware.

Don’t forget induction may require new cookware.

you all have helped me so much. i'm getting some clarity, especially on the fridge. thank you.

i'm watching videos on the steam oven. they're using it for the things i cook most often. i'm kinda into it.

on induction, flags go up on "ceramic-glass surface." i know that i would scratch the hell out of anything like that. i googled and people protect their glass tops with silicone sheets and thin cutting boards. i don't want to invest in something and then have to worry about protecting it by covering it in plastic. it seems too delicate for me.
