It’s totally valid to wonder how your kids might adjust to larger classes. Some kids thrive in a busier environment, while others might need time to warm up. You could ask Kaye Kare how they handle transitions for kids coming from smaller setups.

The lack of a bathroom in the 4’s room could be a bit of a hassle, but if the teachers are attentive, it might not be a huge issue. It’s worth asking how they manage bathroom breaks during busy times to ensure kids aren’t waiting too long.

Paperwork issues can be frustrating. Maybe ask how they’ve improved processes since being dinged in the past—hearing about specific changes could ease your mind.

We LOVE Kaye Kare! Our child attended from 2018 to 2021 and we were very impressed with the owner, Marsha Kaye, as well as the instructors and assistants. They were continually updating the facilities, adding enrichment to the playground, offering new specials (like science and karate), and offering nutritious snacks and meals.They were also patient and helped reinforce our child's potty training (quite honestly they take a lot of the credit for all of it). There are many long-time staff who love their job and have great experience in the classroom. My wife, who is a public school teacher, was impressed with their teaching methods. It was a great value for a safe and fun place for our child.

Children feel abandoned and dismissed. The daycare is dirty. People from office are not responsive, there is no chance to reach them via telephone. Any other recent experiences? Best teachers for 2 and 4 year old classes? Positives seem to be affordable tuition, low teacher turnover, great outdoor space, catered food, and cafeteria hall. Negatives seem to be that it is a little disorganized (dinged for paperwork issues in the past), small classrooms and higher ratios (at least compared to our current D.C. daycare), and no bathroom in the 4's classroom so they have to be escorted to a hallway bathroom. A little worried about the kids adjusting to more children in the classroom and wondering what the quality of care/learning is.
