It's not because of sparking water. It's because people don't take care of their teeth that well. They rarely go for a cleaning. A lot of people don't ever floss. I was talking with my friends back home and one of them was complaining that she went for a cleaning and it hurt like hell. I asked if she flosses and she said "What's that? that thread looking thing? No". Another one commented on how her family only brushes teeth in the evening during the pandemic because they are working from home...
Pellegrino is healthy, but it's best to not always drink just one type of water to get balanced minerals. We love sparking water in Europe and we live longer than you guys

Plus it's great with orange juice or Ribena. What I don't like about it is the plastic trash it creates.
