I Can Hear Your Voice (Hulu)--competition where the contestant tries to guess who has a good singing voice (without hearing them sing)... it's silly and we are thoroughly enjoying it.

The Glow Up (Netflix)--makeup competition but my DH/DS also enjoyed

Instant Hotel (Netflix)--may be some cursing here, Australian show where people compete showing off their airbnbs

The Mole (season one, found it randomly on YouTube and we all enjoyed it)

Dash and Lily (Netflix - does show teenage drinking and there is some very light sexuality, but overall very sweet... depends on your comfort level.)

We have Classic Movie night. The criteria is that it must be a movie that came out before our oldest was born (2003). The kids have liked:

You get the idea - it's all part of their cultural education. We also have playlists on Spotify with songs they ought to know.

Star Trek, the new releases. Picard was good. Discovery is really really good.

Bake-off -- we finished the most recent series and we are now watching the "Masterclass" where they teach you how to make the things.

If you like sci-fi types of shows, Doctor Who is brilliant.

We also started (re)watching LOST when DD was 12.

Camp Nowhere was my favorite movie as a kid in that age range. Heavyweights too!

Parks and Rec is great. Like pretty much all adult sitcoms, it has some mature humor, but it’s very sweet at its heart and accessible to a 10 yo.

Superstore and the good place are two of my favorite shows ever but some of the comedy is a little mature (sexually explicit) for a 10 year old. Umbrella academy also has a bit of this.

I’m also kind of looking forward to the All Creatures great and small reboot on pbs.
