I texted him after 4 days. He said he thought I wasn’t interested after our second date because My body language suggested I wasn’t into him. I told him I thought he wasn’t interested because I hadn’t heard from him. We both agreed we were happy the misunderstanding was cleared up, because we both had a good time. We have another date set for tomorrow.

If the date was that great for the other person, most likely he/she will send you a message like, "It was nice finally meeting you. I had a great time. Looking forward to seeing you again" Bla Bla Bla
Op, maybe it was a great date for you, but not for the other person. Some people are just charismatic, friendly, even if they are not interested. I have been on dates where I like the other person, and I have had a good time but not enough to pursue a relationship.
I agree. If I heard nothing within 24 hours from what I considered a good date it’d be weird. Reach out first OP! Then you know what you’re working with. I’d just text HIM “hey, I had a great time the other night- shall we have an encore sometime?”
