The SCIENCE indicates kids dont transmit and outdoor transmission among kids OR adults is very rare. I take my kids to the playground every day after school (where they wear masks) and they do not wear masks there. We've gone to a playground pretty much every day since April. We are in NoVA and mask wearing is about 50/50. I have no problem with people that wear masks outdoors, but personally its foolish and not something I'm forcing on my kids.

But you need sustained contact in poor ventilation to spread/catch covid. There's no indication that a kid running past another kid from 1ft away is how people are getting covid. None whatsoever.
OP if this really stresses you out, you have to go at off times. 7am, or so.
I didn't ask if there was exposure from running past someone one foot away, but thanks for telling me something I already know. I specifically said sharing playground equipment, like waiting for the slide next to one another, etc. Do people think kids don't spread it still?
