+1 Real love is enduring and when grandchildren arrive you realize you do have a legacy and that loving them is part of the nurturing process. And if you and grandad can still make the bed rock all the better.

of course, there's also the heartbreak, loneliness and disappointment but i'm just focusing on those magical moments right now. wish it was possible to still feel all that sense of possibility about what's going to happen with someone 15 years and 2 kids into a relationship!

You need a book boyfriend! I have a new one every 2-3 years. You get to think he’s the moon and stars, without ruining the good thing that you actually have. Right now, I’m infatuated with Matthew Clairmont of A Discovery of Witches. This follows a decade of Jamie Fraser of Outlander.

What? No way I’m falling for the same old busted ass titties.

Yeah, well your shriveled up balls are also not the most attractive.

Limerence. He did it to me, too.

He will do it to this one too. It’s an addiction.

I know. He's convinced this is real. I actually hope he works on himself and makes it work this time. We lasted 12 years -- I think he was serious for about 6-7 of them.

How does this happen? What do you mean when you say he did it to you too? How do you know what is going on are you still married? I’m sorry, OP. I’d rather bow out than twist into a pretzel. Love is not complicated.

Man here, I miss this too. I think it's near universal for men, although it's crudely reduced to men wanting "strange."

That is awesome. That is what it is about. Loving your legacy.

Are you falling for the wrong guys?

The 20-25 year mark is a crapshoot. Could go either way.

Is there a barf emoji here?

My wife is funny, smart, and gorgeous. Unreal smile and a killer body gets me every time I look at her. Don’t know what makes that barf worthy.
