How do you turn off the auto engine shut off permanently. Everything I read stated you cannot turn it off permanently, only every time you start the engine, which is annoying AF.

I also turnef off every safety feature except for the blind spot detector. They do come in handy, though I do also find thhem annoying at times. Too distractcing.

I think you just get used to pushing the button. I hate the blind spot detector! It's just blinking constantly like "you're on the beltway, you're on the beltway, you're on the beltway." It comes on so much more than the actual blindspot, so it's useless. Just turn your head.

Love my Forester- chose it over the CR-V, RAV 4, and CX 5.

I liked the style and pickup of the CX 5 but didn’t like the dash layout and gauge controls.

Didn’t like the safety features of the RAV 4 compared to the Forester.

Not a fan of the CR V cabin and interior.

Forester was best choice for us based on features, style, and price.

+1 I test drove several cars, and absolutely hate how the trend now is tiny rear and side windows, even on crossover SUVs. Why, just .. why.

I agree there is no reason not to consider a RAV-4 if you are thinking of a CR-V. We absolutely love our 2020 RAV-4 hybrid. It’s really nice to get 400+miles on a full (small, cheap to fill up) tank.

I test drove it, and didn't like how it handled, and I found it too underpowered. But, if you are looking for a hybrid, then I think it's fine.

No man wants to be seen driving these vehicles.

I bought the CRV in December 2019 and I love it. It’s extremely comfortable, handles well on the road, has plenty of room in the trunk and a comfortable back seat. I love the way it drives on the highway. It’s beautifully engineered. Honda makes a nice product that lasts a long time and holds its resale value. I don’t have any experience with suburbs so I cannot compare them. My previous car was a Toyota Highlander which was also an excellent car, but I prefer the CRV.
