I can vividly remember my mother telling my father that when we returned from my physical appt. I remember making it my goal to not gain any weight. And every single time I went to the doctor that year, the number went up by a pound or so. It drove me crazy and it was the beginning of a long battle with restricting food and extreme guilt about food.
