Another vote for Dominon Jewelers. We have family working in NY's diamond district, and they recommended Dominion Jewelers for a local jeweler. They have in house craftsman so can make just about anything.

Research Costco diamonds before buying there. It was a much better place to buy a ring 10 years ago than it is now.

Rare Carat; You can find a colorless, eye clean, excellent cut stone for a great price. That’s the majority of your cost anyway. Buy your stone and then have your ring made locally. I like the settings at brilliant Earth.
