Thank you.

Soccerplex has lots of influence over MoCo. With the Bethesda Premier Cup during the weekend of Nov. 14 at Soccerplex, I can see the effective date being after this date. But this is just a speculation.

I know our Moco soccer team opted to have a home field in Howard and so far we have played at least one other Moco based team with a home field elsewhere. I would think if moco rules change to limit gatherings below where the full team could play, travel teams at least would simply move their games.

We have had quite a few chains on this, but there is virtually zero evidence of transmission from outdoor soccer. Even MoCo, one of the more COVID conservative jurisdictions in the country, has (finally) come to realize this. Contact tracing has nor shown a problem in the county and we have data from all over the world. With schools closed here and not opening any time soon, it is the only exercise and socialization for a lot of kids, and has been proven it can be done safely. Need some risk-reward perspective ...

What are people not reading correctly? I guess posters weren’t being rude enough? I don’t get it so I guess I don’t read or add real good.

Even if spectators fall outside the 25 person limit it is still difficult to have a 11 v 11 game if you have subs, refs and coaches.

Do you people not read? The number of person present may exceed 25.........Read below.

viii. Sports played outside must follow outdoor gathering guidelines and the number of people present is limited to 25. This includes staff, coaches, players, and any parents, guardians, or immediate family, with the following exception:

(1) The number of persons present may exceed 25 solely to accommodate the presence of 1 parent or guardian spectator per youth participant.

MSI already has a one spectator per player rule and mask wearing for the entire Fall season (we have one in their Classic League and one in their Recreation League). It has worked fine.

hard to do so in 11 x 11 if the league specifies three refs, or if you intend ot have any subs.

A game with no subs? Not fair to anyone involved. Might as well move every game out of the county. But MSI will suffer as many of their opponents are also moco.
