A sane Republican, one I disagree with, but with whom I can talk because he's not crazy, and he's entitled to his non-crazy opinions.
Can't say the same for certain other Republicans.

YEah it's not like MD is a swing state. His vote really doesn't make a difference.
I think Hogan has a good chance of being president. Moderate Republican. He'll get all the R votes since they wont' vote D anyway. If the Dems put up someone who is seen as leftist, then you'll get some Ds and a lot of I's voting for Hogan.
That's their key to win -- run a moderate Republican, and hope the Dems run a left-wing candidate.
He's just another R jerk.
Lose-lose. I was all for Hogan as a moderate Republican, and I'm a Democrat. No more. He won't win without moderate Dems voting for him. After Trump gets dumped, the nation won't vote for another mean spirited name caller like Hogan -- anyone who supported Trump won't like Hogan for all the (hot air) negative comments he made about him, and people who disliked Trump won't like Hogan because he didn't bother voting against him. Lose-lose. Come up with a better moderate R candidate and get back to us. Hogan's crossed himself off the list.

Here's how it makes a difference: it shows people that he's just fine with being privileged, and won't be using his privilege to help anyone else. "Vote like your life depends on it" is not just a cute phrase. It really is true for some people. And when disrespect others by throwing away your vote in a flashy, showy, public way? You suck.

I am a lifelong democrat who was fully ready to vote for him for POTUS. Does that count?
+1 OP was never a Hogan supporter. HOGAN for President 2024!
Can you not read? I WAS a Hogan supporter. No more. I will not vote for him in 2024 or in any other election.
yes, people know how it works. If Hogan threw away his vote, then basically he's saying it's ok if Trump wins.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Yes! Dem who voted for Hogan in both elections. His unwillingness to stand with millions of other Never Trumpers means I will never vote for him again.
How did he not stand with Never Trumpers? He didn't vote for Trump and many people are queasy to vote for Biden.
Because at this point, a 3rd party vote is basically a vote for Trump. #everyvotecounts.

This is like the people who couldn't comprehend that HRC was a deeply flawed candidate.
Trump is a deeply flawed candidate.
Biden is a deeply flawed candidate.
How we ended up with terrible candidates again is beyond me.
