This is what you get when the majority of the Council and also the COunty Exec come from ultra-progressive downcounty (Takoma Park / SS). That's why I voted in favor of ballot Question D so we get rid of the at-large seats and have every seat tied to a part of the county.

There's a public hearing in 2 days. You can register to testify, and the deadline is tomorrow.
Also, it's a Council hearing, so email the at-large member as well as your local member with your opinion.
Unlike the Board of Ed, the Council members seem to be more responsive to such feedback.
