OP this is terrible, terrible advice. This is the kind of attitude that contributes to higher suicide rates among LGBT kids, and it will do damage to your relationship with your daughter that will be hard to undo.

I’m not as opposed to your DD having an account as other posters because I think it can be an awesome outlet for creativity and community, but as you saw on the social network it can be bad too.

I think both deleting it and letting her keep it are going to be hard and a potential strain on your relationship, but if you decide to let her keep it, check this out:

I don’t think LGBT content is much worse than cat videos. If a potential future employee saw the videos, they wouldn’t be a big deal.
