My child’s bunk beds are from This End Up. My parents purchased them for me 35 years ago. They are extremely sturdy, and durable.

The stores closed 20 years ago, but you can still buy new online. And used on Craigslist sometimes.

We have a Maxtrix bed.

They are solid wood and can be converted in endless ways, making them better for the long haul...

My daughter used it for 3 years - loved it. Sturdy. Started to outgrow the top bunk by 11 and we just sold it a few months ago for $200 on Facebook yard sale group. So we earned $100 on it.

I would never buy them brand new. So many on FB and CL.

+1

Did the same. Purchased for $200 used and sold for $200 a few years later. Not worth the full price investment. Easy to put together.

We have the basic set from IKEA (we paid for professionals to put it together) and it has worked for six years so far and I have no thoughts to replace. Daughters now 12 (on top) and 8 (on bottom). I make the girls change their own sheets and they cooperate to do it together: life skills lesson: win.
