DH is apolitical and I’m a voter. It’s his decision and it doesn’t both me whether he votes or not. I lean democratic and he leans Republican. If he voted it would be for Trump and I’m voting Biden. I may have pushed him more to vote if it was for my candidate 😉

We don’t fight about politics. Neither one of us really cares.

DH is a Dem, I'm a Republican .... have cancelled out each others votes for 25 plus years. This year we are both voting for Trump.

Meh, DH and I are Democrats but we differ on some issues, some I'm way more left leaning and vice versa. Not sure if it would work if we had opposing views. A supporter of the orange man would be an issue.

Probably, there are other issues I will die on the sword for. One is women who don't like dogs. THEY DO EXIST! Last serious GF was a big cat person and couldn't stand dogs. I can't imagine I thought about marrying one of them.

We're both Dems, but I'm more liberal. TBH we were a bit heated during primary season as I was doing everything I could for Elizabeth Warren and he was not a fan. He declined a big Biden fundraiser because he knew I would be upset with the $$ donation, which I appreciated. Once Biden got the nomination we donated the $$, which I was then happy to do. Today he told me that he would have divorced me if I was a Trump voter. This was after our therapist said she has several clients divorcing over this election.

TBH, it’s been a very hard 4 years on my marriage. He’s center-right libertarian and I’m far left. I don’t think he was like this when we were dating. I hate talking politics with him because it erodes my respect and that makes me feel bad. After some arguments I’m so disgusted. I feel blindsided. I just want trump out and to not have to have political discussions with him anymore. We’re fine if you leave politics totally out of it.
