It pays $90K per year and my title is Social Adherence Officer. I work for the county under the department of recreations. My job description is to monitor and enforce 6 foot rule and one parent rule. You can look it up. I have a note pad and an ipad to ticket offenders. I am expected to write 200 tickets per weekend across the country. I figure I can get 200 violators on two fields each day without having to walk far at all on a busy weekend.
I did the math.
200 X $165 tickets X 52 weeks =
$33K a weekend
$1,716,000 per year
Easily pays my salary and the country gets all that extra money complements of you taxpayers just showing up to watch a soccer game.
Suckers

It is always the first really cold weekend of the year. It’s at the end of a long season. The fields often stink (Muldoon or Polo grounds), albeit last year they played at Germantown Sportsplex which was nice. Plus my kid’s team usually makes it to the finals because they are always bracketed too low as our coaches are cowards, so we have extra games against so-so competition. All in all, a sucky weekend. I think I may stay home with my other kid this year and let my spouse go. At least one of the two days.
Only one parent allowed per game anyways.
I don’t believe the Germantown Soccerplex allows any spectators even for practices. Parents have to stay in the car or parking lot.
Yes, Parents have to stay at parking lot. I used to looking forward to play at Germantown Soccerplex, but not this year.
