Isn’t this illegal? You can’t just have a protest to block traffic. That has to be some sort of crime or something, right? Why can’t police just arrest them?

You think you're clever, but everyone can see the trap here a mile away. Be more subtle next time. #MAGA
Enjoy your car parade, trumpet.
None of you have the balls to drive through PG
Sigh. None of you are very perceptive.
The original poster was a Trumper, just dying for someone to join in and say that yes, blocking traffic and delaying people and being disruptive is illegal, and they should be ticketed or arrested.
And then, the he's jump back in with some sort of reference to the protests - which did the same thing.
The response post was calling that out. (Apparently, though, believing that "everyone can see the trap" was overly optimistic.) The #MAGA was sarcastic.

This may go in the local politics section, but Fox News has given a lot of attention to MoCo in the last year, and I think Laura Ingraham lives some of the time in Gaithersburg. Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson have been fixated on Marc Elrich over the anti-ICE executive order and the whole Thin Blue Line controversy and have devoted multiple segments to the leftist bogeyman Elrich. So I could imagine every Fox News watcher from Fredneck County will be following this.
My guess is that this caravan gets a lot of outsiders from Frederick, the panhandle of MD, rural parts of Howard County, etc
Basically it will be a bunch of obnoxious outsiders trying to disrupt MoCo residents trying to do their weekend errands.

But, if it makes them feel better about being sociopaths, I guess it’s better than them shooting stuff.
They are at least 40% of MoCo. Not an insignificant number, imho.

Where the heck do you get 40%? Trump won 19% of the vote in MoCo in 2016. This is the most anti-Trump jurisdiction you can find. The whole caravan is just useless trolling the libs. Please, do spend your resources campaigning for Trump in Montgomery County.
