Does it have to be a car? If you don't mind a truck, Toyota Tundras last forever if maintained on time and consistently, especially the older ones (i.e., used.)

Jeep Wrangler. Pretty much bullet proof...

Tesla Model 3 or Model Y.

These cars are future-proofing in a big way. Updates come over software, and the models are aging nicely. The Model S is now 8 years old, and has aged really well. Expecting the Models 3 and Y to do the same.

OP here, thank you all for suggestions! I will check out some of these makes/models mentioned. I had been leaning towards lexus, and forgot about toyota and honda lasting forever supposedly.

OMG I had no idea Land Cruisers were so expensive! LOL And here I thought my inheritance would buy something outright! hahahahah

My 20 year old Subaru is about to turn 240. It looks older, but really not too bad all things considered, especially since we are not particularly gentle on it. It lived most of its life in snowier places which has affected its looks than the years, frankly.

Perhaps an MDX?

I have a 2008 with over 200K miles. I have to take it in to get the timing belt changed...and that's the most expensive maintenance bill I've had with this vehicle thus far.

I'm the Honda owner whose Honda started needing $500 feedings every quarter after 85k miles.

I had a 1999 Honda Civic until last year, when I donated it. It was still running but I wasn't driving it much and the door lock was manual. I had to lock with my key! If I had sold it, only a mechanic who knows how to fix up cars would buy it for their aunt or something. It was 200k miles.

I have a 2009 Honda CRV too. But that's about to go downhill if I don't take care of it. It hasn't been driven much these past 8 months. But, it runs well with minor issues.
So, it seems I'm due a new car soon, since there's a pattern to my car purchasing habit of every 10 years.
Maybe next year. I would consider a Honda but I would like something different but it's hard to give up Honda when I haven't had any problems with it.
