DH works at NIH and knows Fauci. He's definitely the right person for the job: meaning that he's eminently qualified, but also LOVES the spotlight (most research scientists are introverted nerds) So Fauci's getting a little too much of it, in difficult circumstances? Oh well. He was made for such a moment.

This. surge is already on in many states and with the cool weather and flu season we are in for a very bad time. seeing the president minimizing the virus, purposely taking the mask off as if wearing is dumb and unmanly, having political rallies with packed people with no mask must be incredibly hard for a person like Fauci. also, I bet he considers Trump a total idiot and responsible for the bad shape we are in now, and seeing his words twisted to support the president in a political add must be really hard.

I can't decide which is most in need of the drug of constant media attention: President Fauci, Senator Schumer, Senator Chis Murphy or Senator Richard Blumenthal. The latter two are understandable: sad Susan Bysiewicz can't figure out why 'woke' Connecticut still has two male United States Senators and no women, let alone her.
