The Ego hand held blower is over 50% more powerful than that Echo (650 CFM for the Ego vs 390 CFM for the Echo), is lighter, quieter, has no vibration, and doesn’t need to be maintained like a gas engine.
It is about $100 more expensive, but depending on how much you use it, you can quickly make that back up in gas savings.
The main downside is runtime. If blowing for long periods, you’ll either need a second battery, or will need to take breaks for it to charge.
