This is a true accomplishment. Kudos!

My 6 year old is really good with transit maps - we have maps of all the major systems, like NYC, London, Paris, and kid's favorite "recess from DL" activity is to figure out how to get from point A to point B.

The posts about little ones are so sweet, but this is a real accomplishment.

Hey, congratulations to you and your family. Wishing all the best.
Thank you all. It’s been so, so hard, and I don’t have anyone to talk to about it.

Anonymous wrote:Our 3.75 year old is super reserved outside her “safety circle” , to the point of selective mutism and avoidance when she’s uncomfortable in a group. She started school a few weeks ago (we’re in Canada - so schools are open, and they start JK the year they turn 4. She won’t be 4 until the end of Dec.)
In any case, we thought she would really fight going to school, but she really loves it and wants to go back every day. She’s a little Teary at drop off still, and exhausted by the end of the day, but she’s *wanting* to go despite her obvious discomfort. We get photo updates, and it’s clear that while she’s not in the thick of things, she is playing with others and doing her best. I’m pretty proud of her.
Also, she’s the only kid in the pics who looks like she wears her mask all day. She likes being a “good friend” and keeps people safe.

I love this! For my kid it was herbs. She could identify tons of herbs, many I’d never heard of, and knew their medicinal uses. It’s so fun to see kids develop unusual interests.
