I just did not want to open up a can of worms. It was a while ago. Would never happen again. Just thought it would be nice to re connect. So I thought I would take the path of least resistance and things didn't turn out that way


So you were intentionally hiding it from your DH. That's why he's mad. If it meant nothing to you he wouldn't be mad, but no one wants to be infantilized and treated like they can't handle the truth. Plus you made him look like an idiot when your friend brought it up and he's clearly clueless. Stop having parties during a pandemic and stop sneaking your exes into your house behind your husband's back. This isn't rocket science.

Just tell him not to worry, that this guy wasn't the biggest or the best you've ever had. You had much bigger and better many other times. DH shouldn't worry himself about this.

Just tell him that it was a long time ago, and it was during group sex so it hardly even counts that it was your lover. It kind of only counts as half or like a quarter of a lover.
