FCV

Top Loudoun players in the 06 and older age groups left for FCV (primarily) before Loudoun got ECNL. 07s and below don't have excuses.
Seems like based on results, the younger Loudoun teams don't need excuses.

How is one team so good and everybody else so bad?
Because the girls who are U17 this year are the girls who dispersed to a bunch of teams when DA stood up. Pre-DA, to get recruited from a NOVA club, you played for FCV (ECNL), Mclean (ECNL), or BRYC (not ECNL). That first DA year, the younger girls flocked to the new DA teams and to the expanded ECNL teams while the older girls on already-established teams (03 and above) stayed put. I think it took BRYC another year to get admitted into ECNL, and by then the damage to their pipeline was done. The 04s and below who wanted “elite” had more options in either ECNL or DA at Mclean/FCV/VDA/Spirit (pre-Metro) etc.
Awesomely wrong analysis

Have you missed the thorough and comprehensive analysis on the goon$?
Maybe you’re playing dumb. Either way, even current coaches have come out to this forum and expressed why their nepotism and politics vilify and permeate nothing but toxicity throughout all estaments of the club. Quite an eye opener. I mean, from someone coming forward like that while still being employed.
Those of us who know and have known have left ages ago. We try to warn innocent by passers but you know... some people really like the thrill of being mistreated and such.
At that rate, they’ll lose another team in each age group and gender within the next 12 months. You saw it Here first.
