-Epilepsy

I grew up in Fl, I would be a terrible helicopter parent here if my child was diagnosed.

-Dry Feet
My feet used to bleed so much as a kid because of this, and was very painful.

So much more, I have terrible genetics.

Pale skin, awkward lack of athletic ability, poor dance skills. My youngest is 10, but my 13 year old has completely skipped the awkward phase I had from age 10-14.

I wish they had gotten my love of reading though.

Also I have great vision, but both my husband and my father have AWFUL vision, so I was sure any kid I had would need glasses out of the womb. Luckily she has great vision too.

My stutter. I heard her tell all of her teacher “I go by NICKNAME” and I was so glad she didn’t have to suffer through my yearly/semester/every substitute “call me by my middle name” that took forever because I stuttered through the whole thing

My physical disability from birth. I was confident that it wasn’t genetic but you never know. I’ve dealt with it and I’ve done well but I think I’m very lucky. But it was physical and not mental and that was a blessing.
