Yeah... Sorry about that. I can't get my kids to stop licking everything.

Yes. We also go to gymnastic class indoor twice a week.

At our playground, most kids over the age of about 3 are wearing masks, as are most adults. Only babies and toddlers are not masked. I'm comfortable with that.

Our neighborhood playground is usually empty and we leave if it’s not (or if others show up). We are very cautious and the kids are washed up and clothes changed when we get home.

Out of curiosity, why? Evidence shows.kids are perfect spreaders.

Not young kids (younger than 10). It's not clear why, but they don't seem to pass along the virus as easily as older kids and adults.

Well, I think they aren't going to spread to me or my kid while at the park, and I realize that making a toddler wear a mask is very hard. I don't think toddlers should be banned from playgrounds just to reduce what I think is already a minimal risk. If I ever start to feel like it's more of a risk, we'll just skip the playground.

I don't care. You do you OP. If it bothers you, don't go the park. You can't police what other people do. I wear my mask indoors but not always outdoors, my kids are little and don't ever wear masks outdoors. My husband gets tested weekly, he's our barometer!

Nobody has masks on at our playgrounds. Kids or adults.

Same.

We still don’t go to playgrounds. Our toddler gets to play three mornings a week at preschool so will be fine without playgrounds the rest of the week. We have to not only think of ourselves but also about all of the other families we go to preschool with. If we are risky outside of our school bubble we are betraying the trust of the other families.

I don’t wear a mask and my kids don’t wear masks at the playground. They know to stay away from other kids and usually there are only a couple other kids there (also without masks).

Also what about the local ordinances?

Stead par in Dupont: parents are socializing close together while their unmasked preschoolers slobber all over the equipment. No thanks.
