I think it is easy to feel like you're wandering and lost when you don't have anything to do except for chores. But turn it into a postive. Make a daily list of what needs to get done. Don't go crazy. You don't need to do all household activities in 1 day.
Some examples. Get up and start a laundry. While laundry is going, make some coffee and read a book you got for free (tons of online resources). Throw laundry in dryer and start next wash. While that wash is going, clean one room in house. Or do one chore in house (vacuum, clean surfaces, etc). While last wash is in dryer, do something fun for yourself. Free workout video, a puzzle, paint, watch an episode of a TV show. When the dryer is done, put away the two loads of laundry. Don't do any laundry for the day. At this point, you've done quite a bit. Now is the time to job search.

Quit whining. People are losing lives and homes. You are not in that situation. If have been given a golden opportunity to spend this time doing something for your own comfort and pleasure, or for educating yourself, or learning a new skill or hobby - then for GODS SAKE use it.
White people! SMH!!

Mark it on the calendar, tell your friends. At the deadline, when you see it in your planner and your friends call you, you get back on the horse and go find another job.
I don't have friends.
No jobs here, either. We left DC a few years ago.

No money for books. I should have gotten a library card before now, but such is life.
