They need a break! I hate that my kids are sitting staring at a small screen for hours. We all have glasses in the family and I am concerned that distance learning will aggravate their myopia.

So when the teacher gives them a break, I tell them to jump on the trampoline.

I would prefer that too, but unfortunately that is not on offer in our school district. We need to keep the kid in instruction pretty much all day. So the choices are live lessons all day with no breaks, or live lessons with short and long breaks.

As a parents of ESOL kids, I'd prefer one-on-one sessions. Group sessions, even with four or five other kids, just aren't time effective through DL since there can't be interaction between the kids.
