Which sort of nursing did she go into? I’m a nurse who works with many amazing nurses and yes 1 or 2 can be tiresome. Usually near retirement age due to burn out.

There's a pretty broad spectrum of "nurses" -- ranging from $15 an hour bed pan changers who went to a glorified community college when they were 27 and finally got their act together. To high school valedictorian superstars, who go to top science programs and then graduate studies in nursing -- and become RNs and other roles that are effectively interchangeable with doctors.

First category - not such a great catch and unlikely to marry a professional spouse. Second category is presumably a great catch. Somewhere between the two and it probably depends on how hot she is and how much the male partner wants kids. Dudes who are dying for babies are more down with middle of the road nurses - who often want to be sahms.

This is an odd question-- aren't nurses rather non-controversial? They make decent enough money with a college education.

My dad has a thing for nurses...and when he was ill my mother was an excellent caregiver
