All of the kids in moco are playing with masks so the pps talking about child abuse can go away. The boys are fine for now and they are happy to be playing. You probably have quail feathers in your kids' pillows.

How MoCo of them. Kids in our county have been playing without masks for over a month and no issues. They fill out a questionnaire and wear masks to and from field. This is reasonable. Wearing a mask while playing is overkill, but to each his/her own. Glad I don’t live in lawyerville.

The questionnaire is a waiver so that if you and your kid gets COVID, you assume and understand all risks and you don't have a case to file a lawsuit and she. Kids that I know that wants to play in MoCo don't mind wearing masks during game. It is the parents who seems to be objecting.

Kids are really wearings masks while playing soccer in MoCO. What a shit show. I would never let my kids starve for air with a mask on while playing soccer. Glad we don't have insane rules like that in VA.

Well we do have insane rules in VA too. Just not that particular insane rule. Given the number of rules we have these days - so many that nobody can even read them all in a lifetime - clearly 99% of them are insane. Still I agree this one is pretty special.

But it does sound like you live in Stupidville.

No, just somebody who thinks going through the motions is going through the motions. Whatever you want to think. It’s dumb, but there is plenty of that around, so not especially dumb. Just dumb like most people these days.

Great, the above posters are how viral transmission will never go down. You want schools to open? Wear your mask properly.

If you think COVID hasn’t already come across most of the population within the DMV you’re nuts lol

Umm Wut? If we all had it, we’d have herd immunity and we’d be done. That’s some insane wishful thinking, PP.

Maybe some double sided tape around the top? Might get irritating and/or fail with perspiration.

Scuba divers spit inside their scuba mask to prevent fogging. Haven’t tried it on glasses, but maybe . . ..

Saw a checkout woman who had hers way up and I asked her if it was because of her glasses, which she confirmed but added it feels a bit uncomfortable. I tried it, it does help, but it's up against your lower eyelids--not super uncomfortable but you notice it. I think tape would feel much worse.

Agreed. Switch to daily contact lenses as soon as possible, although U13 still might be a bit young. Glasses can cause point impact injuries to the face and nose when a ball is struck into the face. The problem is the ball hits the glasses first and then the glasses dig into the face and nose. Sports glasses have padding, but not enough, especially has kids get older and the ball is flying around with more force.
