OK crazy baby wise lady.
Huh? What is crazy about this? Not PP but our pediatrician advised the same schedule when our newborn wasn't gaining fast enough. We eased out of it when she was gaining weight at an appropriate pace a few weeks later.
OP here. This is very helpful. I will follow something like this. We were feeding every 2-3 hours sometimes and other times every 4 hours if he didn’t want to wake to eat. I will try more of a schedule like this.
He did regain his birth weight back but he is small. His pediatrician said he was hoping he would have gain more then just his birth weight.

The pediatrician was happy he regained his birth weight but was not happy he didn’t seem to gain much else. He suggested we supplement with 1-2 bottles of formula a day. What else can I do besides that?
You can do what the pediatrician suggested. That's all. Dumbass.

Anonymous wrote:You should ask your pediatrician about using a high calorie formula. That’s what we used for my premie to get her to gain weight. She chunked up fast.
