But my RE says CE isn't really a cause of infertility or recurrent miscarriage (my problem being the latter). Literally everything on the internet says otherwise, so I'm a bit confused. Has anyone else's Dr said something similar? I'm considering a second opinion as this is the last of a long battery of tests and the only thing they've found.
My RE at GW is a straight shooter and not overly optimistic. She said it can have an impact but isn't a magic bullet. It can cause implantation failure and early losses, so yes, it has an impact on fertility. I do think there are many, many fertile women who conceive and carry never knowing they have endometritis. But for us in the infertility world, sometimes it can mean that one conception in 24 months doesn't implant successfully or your FET fails. So absolutely important to treat.
