Considering the friend reached out to me and asked what room we’re in and then, when I told her, she said she was extremely disappointed, I doubt it.

Again, wasn’t something we pushed. The school offers it. We could turn it out, but that would mean not giving our kid access to some extra activities she’d enjoy. Us turning it down won’t change the fact that not all kids are going to be doing this program.


“Out” should be “down.” We got a letter saying our kid was recommended for it. We didn’t do a thing.

time for DS to leave the dumb dumb behind and move forward- college applications are only 14 years away, now is not the time for sentimentality

This is not a major issue. My son is now 11. Things like this happened all the time, even before the pandemic. Your child will make new friends, he is 4.
