Yes. See other thread.
03 - Tie
04 Win
05 Win
06 Lose 2-1 with an own goal
07 Win
08 Lose
I watched part or all of 4 games. It looked pretty competitive on all fields.
FCV is in decline below 05 as predicted.
You must not have watched the games.
The 06 game was even. The 07 game was close with an FCV win.
The FCV 08's were beaten by speed. One Bethesda player did the damage, all speed. This will all even out in the coming years.
I don't see a drop off, but competitive teams at every age group.
If one player beat FCV what will they do against a good team with multiple good players?
Like I said, only works on the littles

And why do you care? If families go to one or another club is their business. There are several reasons behind the decision on why families go to one or other club, winning or losing a scrimmage game is not a reason at all. I know teams that lose one or two league games and yet they end champions. Also winning should not be the goal of your team, the goal should be that all players in the team know to play soccer. If they win okay they are lucky.
The problem here is that there are a bunch of mediocre and loser parents bragging that their kids team wins scrimmages. Get a job!

Arlington showed well against Richmond United. At least after my DD’s game, we heard some Richmond players commenting about how good the Arlington players were and how Richmond didn’t expect that level of contest. Arlington is ready to compete, y’all.

Not it won’t
Interesting take on the game.
Bethesda didn’t even have a bench - only 1 field sub and had their second goalie sub the second half to give some rest. FCV Had full bench. It was 2-0 the first half. Bethesda had a far more technical team; yes some players with speed but with no bench - that could not be all or it. BSC players were also small - heard several girls playing up.
The 2-0 in the first half, courtesy of 1 player. FCV played a much more finesse game where Bethesda tried to break lines and use speed.
The game looked like it could get out of hand quickly. Probably didn't because of the lack of bench on Bethesda.
The game was fairly even outside of 1 player.
