I agree. I think he needs to be let in on this and decide if he wants that. I would not.

Can you move along please? As I posted above, we are having SIX friends over to celebrate. Not one of then will care about me cutting and serving a damn birthday cake. AGAIN, this post was asking for advice about GIFTS. Do you have a suggestion? If not, move along.

OP here; I know my husband, we’ve been married for three years He’d be happy with 20+ friends coming to surprise him but I limited it to 6 friends even though in our state, we can have up to 50 for outside gatherings. So again, I’m not worried about it and also, this post was about GIFT ideas, not options on me having SIX friends over to celebrate his 30th.
