Does it matter? He plagiarized and we know it. We can decide what to do with that information. I'm over the effort to either make Biden look like a living saint or drag him through the mud over what happened 50+ years ago. He's not a saint, but he's running for president, not trying to be canonized.

No, he hasn't. The question is whether Biden learned from his mistake. He might have, but these days he seems to be stage-managed, so my concern is those he has surrounded himself with in his campaign and potentially his administration. If he wins, and he's not careful, Biden will end up like Jimmy Carter.

We can't look at Trump's record, they've never leaked. That's the point. How did an academic issue Biden did at age 23 leak to the media in 1987? I thought academic records were private.
