I echo previous posters: NL provides a different experience than MC Elite, Stars or Pride. it is close in and not as serious. This is a great option if convenience is a big factor or you prefer a less serious program. Probably comparable to B teams in terms of lax.

the other clubs play in higher brackets and are more of a commute for city kids. Also geared towards girls who want to play in college or at least start on their high school teams.

The better model is the one that works for your daughter and family.

We know a few families that left NL for MC. They said that NL is a mess.

No MC 2026 A team girls are going over to next level. Don’t know about B team or 2027.

So does anyone know the plan for Next Level? Do they plan to play in the NGLL now?

Curious to hear what NL teams got girls from MC or BLC.

How many around here have really tried? MadLax and ????

Bethesda Lacrosse is on track to do it

I am curious about this. I know Bethesda has that great 2027 girls team but the other grades don’t seem to play in any of the top brackets. Also, doesn’t it end in 8th?

Yes, yes they do and BLC folks have been claiming this for years, every time they get a decent team it starts up.

So this part doesn't really make a lot of sense because BLC just started the middle school program with the 2026 class. So not sure how they could have been "claiming this for years". It is true that the 2026 team playe din the B bracket in the NGLL but isn't the point that Next Level didn't even play in the NGLL?

People claimed it about the 2023s back when they were in 5th grade and other years before then.

Switched clubs and it was night and day. Pretty low level coaching. If she wants to make her HS team go somewhere else. But the program does fill a gap for girls who want to play higher that Rec but aren't good enough to make HS teams at Capital or MC Elite. Lots of younger players from NL looking at other clubs this year - they did nothing during the shutdown and it really hurt them.

Curious to know where you went? Sounds like you went to a great program

So is Next Level playing in the NGLL this year? Hearing girls are leaving MC Elite and going there but not sure why if they don't even play at the same level? Does anyone have any insight?
