We haven't. We've gotten takeout a few times. Besides the covid risk, I just read something about how much ppe gets used by restaurant staff to serve people in person, and the environmental impact of that is staggering. We'll wait, we'll survive.

We've gone to 4 restaurants. Once we ate inside, and 3 times outside. DS is 7.5. All was fine.

No we are not eating out with our kids (3 and 6).

Also, my DH and I are also not eating at restaurants. We do get take out.

Sitting in one spot, with a server coming in contact with lots of people, and with people we don't know breathing non-stop close by us, it just does not feel safe. Even outside with lots of "air flow".

We ate outside at a restaurant in Montana that was in a town of 300 people. There were two tables and the other one was empty.

Even that felt more risky than I would've liked.

We eat out with our kids at least once a week. Outside or inside.

I don't see the appeal. Especially with very young kids.

We used to eat out 3 meals per week and we just have no desire to now. We can get takeout if we want the food, we are not getting together with friends without masks (which you must remove to eat) and distance (hard to maintain at the same table), and it won't help us "feel normal again" because it won't be normal. Masking/unmasking, worrying about surfaces, avoiding the bathroom... who needs it?

Nope. And we used to eat out all the time.

We have eaten on our boat and done dockside service though. We had to go into the restaurant once to use the bathroom and it freaked me out. Just not worth it for us.

We’ve done a handful of counter service places and then sat outside, but not sit-down restaurants.

Yes. We eat out normally 2 times a week and have since the patios opened. 3 kids with the youngest being 14 months. We are only eating outside but don’t wipe anything down. Have been healthy the whole time.

We have eaten at restaurants a few times. Really, we mostly don’t go for the same reasons we didn’t pre-covid. It’s expensive, the food is usually mediocre, and keeping kids seated and distracted is possible, but not enjoyable.

My parents are going out all of the time though .
