What the heck does this even mean? Also donor sperm, in various forms, has been around forever. It’s no different, except sexism.
Anonymous wrote:We considered both options carefully. Also took an adoption course that helped as per previous poster. We ultimately settled on adoption and have 3 wonderful DC. I have never regretted it and only wish I had done it sooner and wasted less time on infertility treatments.

My DH and I have a child with special needs. When we could not conceive again on our own, we considered adoption but ultimately felt that we were not equipped to deal with the unknowns of adopting a child after birth due to the potential for FAS and similar issues. We opted to use donor eggs to eliminate that issue.
