I’m 5’9” and my 15 yo DS is 6’4”. It’s been about 3 yrs.

Really? I've literally never seen a case of a mother being taller than her fully grown son unless the son had a disability (sounds like it happened in the case of the poster who is 5'8, above--she refers to DC though) I think it happens with girls and mothers, but not boys.

I'm 5'0. The youngest kid I knew who was taller than me (came from a tall family) was 8.

I'm 5'7'' and Dad is 5'8''. Son is 1 inch shy of 5' at 11, and I can get into some of his shoes (I have women's size 9 feet). Even though he's thin and not super tall or big at all, I think he'll surpass me by the start of high school.

He's only 4 now, so time will tell. Tall for his age, but like 80th percentile.

Never. I am 5'9" and DC is college age and an inch or two shorter than me.

He's only 4 now, so time will tell. Tall for his age, but like 80th percentile.

Age 13, he's 5'3". Other son is 6'3" and he was there at age 14.

I’m 5”5 DS1 was 14, DS2 was 12 and DS3 was 10 when they surpassed me in height.

DS was a later bloomer. I think at 16 and a few months, I am 5'4", DS is now 5'11.
