My kid has been in outdoor camp. Her best friend and best friends sister who is 4 also goes. They wear masks unless eating or doing water activities. 4 year olds are capable of wearing masks.

My 4 year old has a well fitting mask, but seems to have no ears. It slips off her ears. She doesn't touch it and I put it on her correctly. We tried the headband one too but it falls even more. I'm buying neck gaiters this week.

My 3 and 5 year old are really good about wearing masks, but they definitely touch and adjust them from time to time.

As an adult, 'I' would be expelled within the hour.

My 5 yo happily wears her mask (in her preferred color) but she touches it and stuff-because she's 5 and this isn't easy even for adults!

That’s inappropriate.

This seems harsh. Has anyone else run into this?

Insane for touching your face.

It won’t matter because the school will eventually close/go all virtual anyway.

That’s BS - I’m a pre-k teacher and the class would be empty by 10am.

Curious where this is. Our district doesn't suspended or expel for anything. Including violence or bringing a weapon to school. There is no way they would expel for not wearing a mask. And I don't think it is the right punishment but it does send a message they are serious.

They are also going to have a lot of kids doing nothing and sitting in the office while the parents don't pick them up on the day they are suspended. And that is a lot of hearings for suspension / expulsion due process. Hope the admin team had a free calendar
