Pp here. Oh okay i didnt realize they were so backordered. Thank goodness I bought ours 4/4 from walmart right when schools closed. Moco was in phase 0 and i remember being scared to go in and pick it up from customer service. Lol.

Bike companies are making money right now.

The issue with bikes from Wal-Mart is that they aren't always assembled correctly. If you're not good at fixing bikes, this could be a safety issue for your kid. When my kids were younger and growing like weeds i was a big proponent of used name brand bikes. One of our local boke shops sold used bikes. All were name brand bikes, professionally tuned, and significantly cheaper than new bikes.

Thrift stores often have bikes.

Unless something has changed, The Bike Lane in VA is still accepting old bikes for trade in, so you might be able to get one that way (I did last month). And I gave away the outgrown one on NextDoor, but you'll have to move quickly.

Check NextDoor and your local area parenting groups on FB. I just sold two of my kids’ old Trek bikes for very cheap via ND and actually gave away a kid’s bike via FB for free.
