Woman here. I truly detest people who text all day. Especially people I'm banging.

Same. Back in my dating days I worked in a SCIF which was perfect to avoid the texters, dates and friends alike. "I don't have access to my phone at the office and only really check it at lunch, so if it is really important, call my desk phone or send me an email." No one takes you up on the latter.

Texter

I am not a tester. Just tell her you aren’t really a tester. I check my texts at night when the day is pretty much over, text for 15 minutes, and that is it. My friends leave me off the constant text chains as they know it isn’t my thing.

Long distance relationships have these sorts of issues.

Gently tell her you aren’t available this much. I hate constant texting too. Some texting, checking in, is nice. Not all day.

This is why I train people I date early on.

From the beginning, I always wait at least 4 hours between texts, I never text during work hours, and I don’t carry on endless text conversations.

OP I’ve reflected on this. I think she may be going through something and needs the emotional comfort of the texts. Once she’s through whatever it is, she will fall quickly out of “love” with you. I’ve seen the pattern. So just run with it. After she breaks it off you’ll miss those texts. I’ve seen this pattern before. The texts aren’t so much about you as they are a crutch for her.

I'd definitely go with no texting during the work day. Simple reason, makes sense. Then text for a bit and end it with going to work out, text later. Text some more and then say watching movie, I'll let you know what I think. So basically just let her know why you are going silent. Then next time you are together physically, talk to her about it. Some people do not like texting - doesn't mean they don't like the person.

Use your texting fingers to say "I don't want to text this much on a daily basis"

Dump her. She is a headache. It will only get worse.

OP, grow up.

She's way more into you than you are to her. You think she's a FWB; she thinks you're her boyfriend. No way will this end well. Just cut it off now before she gets in any deeper and is more hurt than she's already going to be when you break it off.
