Aren't some of these teachers the DL teachers due to high COVID risk factors?

Most teachers, especially the older teachers with health issues like hypertension, back problems etc, or the ones in poor physical shape (overweight etc.) are not going to sign up to teach outdoors. Factor in the high humidity (we've had over 2 weeks of temps in the 90"s) and heat well into October and the bugs, this would never fly in the area.

This is a great idea! I agree that outdoor classrooms are not going to work in this area, but I would fully support lunch outdoor weather-permitting.
