Somebody needs to leave their plastic bubble for their meds.

Don't you have a ball or two to wipe down?

LOL. Yeah, I'll get right on that. I am not one for pretending that many of these things make a difference. But I also don't believe in simply disregarding them. Most are costless and all are respectful. Nor do I beliee in completely losing my head or thinking that if I yell and scream loud the same thing over and over again and loud enough, I'll persuade people. You can both recognize the dangers inherent in the current situation and maintain a sense of calm and perspective and tolerance, though obviously most posters do not. I think most of us feel like the pilot in Airplane!, going through the airport, totally sick and tired of the kooks of every stripe ranting and raving at us as we go to take our flight. (Cue the lectures on air travel during the pandemic.)

LOL, because the "Somebody needs to leave their plastic bubble for their meds" comment is persuasive, calm, and tolerant of others' opinions.

Your college degree must have been in Irony.

Wow! You really like using "irony." I feel like I am teaching a 10th grader who finally found a new term to use with facility. Maybe when you get more education, you'll move on to "social construction" and full-blown modernism. Can't wait to see you grow!

I used it once. Again, with another "persuasive" answer. I think you should get back to wiping down your balls, because you aren't good at internet discussion and wiping down balls seems to be your forte.

oooohhh Forte! Another five cent 10th grade word, along with jokes about testicles. We really bring out the rocket scientists on this site. Glad to have you in the area. You'll be gone soon enough.

Boy, you're really swaying me with your "charm."

I could see when the refs line them up to check numbers/shinguards/player cards they could do temp checks.

What I think will be WONDERFUL, is that parents' screaming will be muffled by masks!! Also, I won't have to sit close to other parents. No matter where I put my chair the most vocal opposing team parent will end up placing their chair next to mine.

This will all be shutdown by the state governors by Sep 1.

Great ....Why don't you shut your kid down now and leave the sport forever.

how does using hand sanitizer or constantly washing hand help when it spreads via inhaled droplets? it doesn't but we pretend it does

our club has been using club balls for anything where more than one player touches the ball- i.e. passing drills and shooting drills with passes. The coach wipes down the balls in between drills.

What club gives you balls to use? We have to bring our own. For outdoor futsal clinics they bring and sanitize, but soccer is BYOB.
