We never had a positive case or shutdown in my daughters class. I believe only one class was out one day for a possible exposure, that resulted in a negative test. They have a check in questionnaire and tempsture check each day, and told us all the teachers received their vaccines (though of course there could be teacher turnover). We were very happy with how they handled it!!
Ps this was all year, starting in the first day of class. They were never all virtual this school year.
