Acura TLX. We got a 2020 with 5k miles (dealer loaner) for $26k. Love it.

Interesting. I asked the same of my mechanic and he told me to go for an Audi.

Sure he said buy Audi because it’s a cash cow for him.

Most cars will be in fantastic condition around 30k miles. At 100k miles and above only Lexus and Acuras will (still) remain fantastic

This is old data. Lexus holds true, Acura has lots of problems and it has trickled into Honda.

Acura reliability has been terrible lately. Same with Honda.

Agree with the maxi pad front grille.

I can’t imagine anyone looking at that and thinking it looks good.

We own two Lexuses--2006 ES and 2000 RX. Both were purchased off a 3 year lease. Both have been incredibly reliable and the 2006 ES has required nothing but routine maintenance. The interiors have also held up pretty well.

Unfortunately, I hate the new designs and grill. We will keep these cars until they no longer run but I have been looking at other luxury brands recently. I like the MB E class but the price is higher than Lexus and I am concerned it will not last 15-20 years with low repair costs like my Lexuses. What about Acura?

Porsche is the #1 brand according to Consumer Reports. Lexus is #5, Audi #6, and Volvo #22.
