Well... I’m the rebound and now we’re married. Husband and his ex had broken up only three weeks before we met, but had been having problems for a long time. Obviously it took him time to fully get over it, and we took things slow.

My husband had dated a mutual acquaintance, which i knew. I didn't know until after we got married that she had JUST dumped him a few days before we met at a bar. I asked him why he hadn't told me and he said "I might have been drunk but I wasn't stupid."

Anyway after a few months, he came around, did the apologies and pledge etc so I took him in again. But when he cheated the second time, I knew I had to burn everything, including that $600 winter coat, our shared camping tent, pillows. Everything. Truly then was he really out of my life.
Um... this is not a rebound story... this is a story of revenge...
