In homes are licensed for 8 children but it's based on the square footage of the home and if the providers has children of their own under 6 years old. "Large Family Childcare" homes can be up to 12 children (they need assistants). I know some people do nanny shares here but in Maryland they are illegal and you can be fined if you are reported.

I see, so until basically now, someone could be unlicensed because of COVID logistics and they are rescinding it. But now that we know there will be virtual school most places, will they un rescind?
