I was in this camp, but they keep getting rid of the capsules I like best. I think they’re on the road to becoming Keurig (recent survey they sent suggested that they were considering adding brands like Dunkin Donuts).

This is what we thought as well. It seems the coffee isn’t as good? We switched back to the bonavita and the nespresso is just collecting dust at this point. Think we are going to donate it…

Which coffee isn't as good?

We buy Lavazza pods for our Nespresso. Makes awesome coffee.

Keurig makes crap coffee though. YOu can buy Nespresso pods through Amazon, many types.

+5 I was a holdout for long time when my husband suggested buying an almost $400 coffeemaker, but it works great and is easy to use and clean and we use it everyday so…here I am.

We got ours for $240 from a Black Friday Sale. I'm pretty sure my husband would save that thing in a fire.

That's hilarious. I can't stop visualizing it.

+6. I got one used on eBay years ago. When it finally broke Technivorm replaced it for a relatively modest fee. Totally worth it.

Yes. Love the ease and simplicity of a french press, and that I can put it away in the cabinet -- we have too many things on the counter as it is.

This was us. But some news came out about French press coffee being bad for your heart. Something about the grounds and oils that don’t get filtered through. I wouldn’t take it as fact, but considering my DH has a heart condition and we both drink a lot of coffee, it seemed smart to switch over to something else. We went with a moccamaster and love it

I think that there are 2 questions here. One is whether a coffee maker can make espresso (yes, in the case of nespresso original, for example.). The second is about foaming milk. Some espresso machines come with a milk frother, though you can also buy a decent stand-alone one for $40 on Amazon.

Technivorm Moccamaster.
I finally took the plunge and got one and my only regret is not buying it sooner. It makes exceptionally good coffee and cleaning is a breeze.

Cuisinart. I am on my 2nd. Last one we had for 5 years. Nothing was wrong with it, just wanted a fresh one. My dad has been using it and it still works after 7 years!
